The K-Teacher Programme, developed by the National Institute of Korean Language (official government body responsible for developing, standardising, and promoting the Korean language), is an innovative global initiative designed to support and empower overseas Korean language teachers and aspiring educators. As interest in Korean language and culture continues to grow worldwide, the programme provides a valuable opportunity for educators and aspiring educators to strengthen their teaching expertise, develop practical classroom skills, and become part of an international community dedicated to Korean language education.

The programme is FREE OF CHARGE and:

• Is suitable for educators with diverse levels of teaching experience and backgrounds
• Offers a wide range of theory-based and practicum-oriented courses to support training in:

1. Korean language teaching methodologies
2. Specialised subject areas, including Korean culture education, linguistics, literature, history, translation and interpretation
3. Developing practical classroom skills and professional teaching expertise through teaching and learning design sessions, as well as by observing experienced teachers’ classroom practices and teaching approaches.
